The workflow runs every hour and checks your Google Sheets invoice list for rows marked Pending. For new invoices, it generates a professional PDF via PDF.co and emails it via Gmail. For overdue invoices, it sends reminders at 3, 7, and 14 days — and alerts you when an invoice hits 14 days unpaid.
Do I need a PDF.co subscription?
No — PDF.co's free tier includes 100 PDF conversions per month, enough for most small businesses. If you send more than 100 invoices per month, a paid plan starts at $8/month. The automation uses simple HTML-to-PDF conversion that works on the free tier.
Can I customise the invoice design?
Yes. The invoice HTML template is inside the workflow's Generate Invoice PDF node. Edit the HTML and CSS directly to match your brand colours, add your logo, or change the layout. Basic HTML knowledge is all you need.
What happens when an invoice is marked paid?
Change the Status column in Google Sheets from Pending to Paid. The automation skips any row without Status = Pending, so reminders stop automatically once you mark an invoice paid.
